Scaled Scrum Product Owner Certified (SSPOC™)
Overview
The Chief Product Owner makes the day-to-day business decisions in the case of large projects with numerous Scrum Teams and multiple Product Owners. The Chief Product Owner prepares and maintains the overall Prioritized Product Backlog for the large project, using it to coordinate work through the Product Owners of the Scrum Teams. The Chief Product Owner will be responsible for the final deliverable of the project. Apart from making final business decisions, the Chief Product Owner collaborates with the Chief Scrum Master, other Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to develop a list of components and resources needed in common for all the teams throughout the project.
Applicants will be awarded the Scaled Scrum Product Owner Certified (SSPOC™) certificate by SCRUMstudy™ upon successfully passing the certification exam.

Course Objectives
- SSPOC™ is an advanced-level certification for professionals who are working as or are interested to work as Chief Product Owners, Program Product Owners, or Portfolio Product Owners.
- The objective of this certification is to confirm that the applicants have sufficient expertise to manage multiple product development teams at projects, programs and portfolios levels
Course Outcomes
- Students will readily recognize, define, and work with the concepts, advantages, and challenges of the Scrum Framework.
- Students will be prepared to play the role of Chief Product Owner, Program Product Owner, or Portfolio Product Owner in their organizations and help their organizations adopt the Scrum Framework. Furthermore, students will develop an understanding of the other roles in Scrum.

Prerequisites
There is no formal prerequisite for this certification. However, it is preferable to complete the Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC™) certification before applying for the Scaled Scrum Product Owner certification. It is also highly recommended to attend a SSPOC™ training provided by a SCRUMstudy approved Authorized Training Partner (A.T.P.)

Scrum Certification Online Exam: System Requirements
- Please note that this is a proctored exam, so you must have a webcam in working condition or you will not be able to take the test. The webcam will remain on during the test, and the video of your exam will be captured throughout the test.
- A working headphone or system microphone to connect to the audio conference.
- This test works with latest versions of Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox or other popular browsers. Ensure that you have the latest version.

Re-Certification
SCRUMstudy Recertification Process
A SCRUMstudy™ certificate should be renewed within three calendar years of its issue date. As the Scrum/Agile field is maturing, it is important for practitioners to be abreast of current and latest innovations in the field. For example, the current version of the SBOK™ Guide includes details on Scaling Scrum for Large Projects and Scaling Scrum for the Enterprise. Sections on improving the Scrum Guidance Body and Planning in Scrum have also been updated. Maintaining a certificate enables a student to demonstrate his/her commitment to continuing learning. It also demonstrates the student’s knowledge of Scrum/Agile to employers, peers and colleagues.
A student can renew his/her certificate in the following ways:
- Recertification examination: A Recertification course is not as extensive as the Certification course and consists of only half the exam questions. A student can pass the Recertification exam with just a few hours of study. A student passing the Recertification exam implies that the student has reviewed the latest concepts from the SBOK™ Guide. As such, all previous certifications of the student get renewed for 3 years from the date of passing this certification exam.
- SCRUMstudy™ certification examination: A student passing any other SCRUMstudy™ certification exam implies that he/she has reviewed the latest concepts from the SBOK™ Guide and fulfils the criteria for maintaining certification.
