Scrum Developer Certified (SDC®)
Overview
Scrum Developer Certified (SDC®) is an entry level certification for Scrum Team members and those who interact with any Scrum Team. The objective of this certification is to ensure that Scrum Team members know enough about Scrum to effectively contribute to a Scrum project. The courseware and preparation tools required for the certification exam will be made available online. An online proctored exam will be conducted at the end of the course.

Audience Profile
This is highly recommended for everyone in a company who works in a Scrum Team or anyone who interacts with any Scrum Team. This will also be very useful for those who are interested in understanding the basics of Scrum and how this method could be used effectively.
Prerequisites
There is no formal prerequisite for this certification. However, it is preferable to complete the Scrum Fundamental Certified (SFC™) certification before applying for the Scrum Developer certification. It is also highly recommended to take our SFC™ course certified by SCRUMstudy.

Scrum Certification Online Exam: System Requirements
- Please note that this is a proctored exam, so you must have a webcam in working condition or you will not be able to take the test. The webcam will remain on during the test, and the video of your exam will be captured throughout the test.
- A working headphone or system microphone to connect to the audio conference.
- This test works with latest versions of Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox or other popular browsers. Ensure that you have the latest version.

Re-Certification
SCRUMstudy Recertification Process
A SCRUMstudy™ certificate should be renewed within three calendar years of its issue date. As the Scrum/Agile field is maturing, it is important for practitioners to be abreast of current and latest innovations in the field. For example, the current version of the SBOK™ Guide includes details on Scaling Scrum for Large Projects and Scaling Scrum for the Enterprise. Sections on improving the Scrum Guidance Body and Planning in Scrum have also been updated. Maintaining a certificate enables a student to demonstrate his/her commitment to continuing learning. It also demonstrates the student’s knowledge of Scrum/Agile to employers, peers and colleagues.
A student can renew his/her certificate in the following ways:
- Recertification examination: A Recertification course is not as extensive as the Certification course and consists of only half the exam questions. A student can pass the Recertification exam with just a few hours of study. A student passing the Recertification exam implies that the student has reviewed the latest concepts from the SBOK™ Guide. As such, all previous certifications of the student get renewed for 3 years from the date of passing this certification exam.
- SCRUMstudy™ certification examination: A student passing any other SCRUMstudy™ certification exam implies that he/she has reviewed the latest concepts from the SBOK™ Guide and fulfils the criteria for maintaining certification.
